It's not broken, basically all facebook games, especially Zynga games, are meant to be like that. It's so you are finding more players for them, potentially earning them more money.

I don't think it's in English though
Thanks for the reply.. I looked at the screenshots in that game, and while it was nice, it's just not CV matieral. I do believe that it is also restricted to energy limit... definatley dont want that. Also, i know that zynga knows alot of stuff is broke, and they also know that no matter how much we complain, we still tend to play.. But it makes it extremly un-fun to play with so many bugs.. i have like 3 peole out of like 400 on my fb that play...now keep in mind that when everythign was working good almsot all of them were plaing and enjoying it, However since all this crap, some 98% of my fb friends dont play now. I have like 4700 zfriends, but i cant ask them for matierials, because they wont fix it., But yet they are adding new ♥♥♥♥ all the time!
Two building games that are similar, but not exactly like Castleville...Bistro Boulevard and Dream Builder: Amusement Park, both by now-defunct developer, Fugazo.
In Bistro Boulevard, you're responsible for restoring Restaurant Row to its former glory. To that end, you must open and run American, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, and French restaurants. You're provided with limited funding and must earn as you play in order to add tables, equipment, and decor, plus hire and train staff. Periodically, you earn a star which allows you to upgrade equipment and decor. Then, you see what ingredients your guests want on that day, choose recipes to match that and your chefs' abilities. Open and seat customers. While it's not as involved as Castleville, the concept and graphics remind me of it.
In Dream Builder: Amusement Park, you're given an empty plot of land and must build an epic amusement park based on quests that are given. You design the layout too, by building roads. And you choose your customers based on their interests. This one is a bit more involved than Bistro Boulevard.
(There's also Boutique Boulevard, but it wasn't really my cup of tea.)
