Make more subcategories for the categories in the store, and add a tagging system
I've been very frusturated lately in trying to find games that I want. The store on steam does categorize games, but not nearly enough. I'm suggesting that in each category of the store, there are subcategories.

For example, there is a category of games dedicated to strategy games. However, there are tons of types of strategy games in that genre! You can go further and divide them into groups like: Real Time Strategy, Turn Based Strategy, Turn Based Tactics, etc. etc.

You could also subdivide action into First Person Shooter, Third Person Shooter, uhm... you get the point.

You could also implement a tagging system into Steam. I've been trying to look for zombie games in the steam store, but whenever I searched for it, I simply ended up getting games with "zombie" in the title. You could add tags so that whenever a word is searched, games with that tagged word is listed, which is how a lot of other sites work.

For example, I loved... say... Metroid Prime, and I want to find a game similar to it. Metroid is a game with tons of puzzles, it's a shooter (sort of), and it's futuristic. I could search shooter, futuristic, and puzzle in the search bar and it will give me a list of games with those tags.

I just really want to see easier navigation on this program. Thanks for reading.

The category system actually is a tag system, not one of hierarchical subdivisions. But yes, people wanting new tags added to it is a common suggestion.

I know that games are tagged with these categories, but there are only about 10 or 12 total tags because there is that number of categories. That's kind of dumb.
