What if startup movies could be use on PC?
We all know you can buy with steam points startup movies, what if this one works when you open normally steam on PC (launch steam), because nowdays you can only use it on big picture and steam deck

Why would you need it on PC though. There is no startup animation, if you added one, it would only take longer to start steam.

Why waste the system resources and the time it would take to play the video? Just so it "looks better"?

Thats a waste of time to me.

The only way this would be acceptable is if it was optional and off by default and no video was included in Steam when its off. Steam is bloated enough with a bunch of junk I don't need or want. A start up video just wastes startup time and system resources.

Instead of the splash window? Sure, wouldn't mind that. Optionally, though.

The setting you're looking for is called "Start Steam in Big Picture mode"
