can i use steam gift cards from italy in north macedonia

i have a friend in italy that wants to send me 200 euro in steam gift cards but i live in macedonia will it work its a phisical gift card btw

I don't think so, anyway on the back of the physical steam card there should be more information, it's been years since I bought one but I think I remember that the ones in my country said that they could only be used here.

The currency that Macedonia uses in real life doesn't matter. It's whatever currency the store is set to for users in that region that matters. Steam does not support the denar, so chances are Macedonians have to pay in the Euro on Steam like other European countries that do not have supported currencies.

As long as the currency matches, you can use the gift card.

Yep, if your store currency is the Euro, you can use Euro gift cards, no matter where they are from.

To use a physical gift card, your Steam Store region must be set to the region that uses the currency printed on the card.
If your in a different region that uses a different currency, then the physical card is worthless to you as attempting to use a store region you don't live in is a violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement.

Simply trying to use a gift card from a different currency is not a violation of the SSA alone. It would only be so if you attempt to circumvent regional restrictions or change your store to a region you don't actually live in.

If you pay in Euro on the Steam store (as in all prices are in Euro) you will be fine.
