Organise our Wish-list
Hello for a while I have been thinking wouldn't it great for people like me who have lost count on how many games are on there wish-list, And then trying to find them it can be a nightmare.

I have an idea;

Wouldn't it be awesome if we could create wishlist's like
Racing games,
RPG's,
Single players Games,
Wanna Buy,
Keep my eye on,
etc, etc.

These are just some examples, kinda like how we can make our own collections in our personal library's. I would love something similar in the section of wish list rather then just endless scrolling looking for a certain game (I / we) added.

It would be a lot quicker to find said game or games if we could make our own list's within the wish list section on steam.

Whats everyone's thoughts on this maybe I'm alone with over 1000+ games in my wish list and feeling like I'm doom scrolling trying to said something I added but cant remember what it was called.

Lets Unite all post in to one and gather the troops

I mean making multiple wishlists is not really needed, all they really need to do is add a filter section for game type.
A filter would be good, But I also think within wish list to be able to organise it our self's would be such a beneficial thing for someone like me.

Rather then what we have at the moment like sort by price, date added, etc.

Like we all go down the rabbit hole of looking for games to play, and then adding them to our wish list which is great at the time of doing it as you dont think much about it at the time. (its just this looks great add that, and this add that and so on.
And do not get me wrong when I be doing this its great fun, its just then trying to find what it was I added at a later date.

Where I think I would love it if when you added a game to your wish list a drop menu or something would appear and you can then add it to what ever custom list, collection, make new list, what ever it would be called if it was to ever be implemented.

hear my lonely ask in the wind stream of life.

P.S I have used my trusty :dragonradar: and gathered all 7 :dbzk_db7: and I am also asking Shenron as I do not possess the means to summon the Eternal Dragon
I would have no problem with a system like the Collections system for our Libraries. Each would have to be a static Collection that you add games to manually from your Wish List page after creating a new Collection. Not likely something I would personally use, since I have a very small Wish List and always will, but my (adult) children have huge lists that they lose track of things on all the time when trying to find a new game in a specific genre to buy (all full price or at a discount). I know we can group them by our own ranking system, and for me that isn't a big deal, but for someone with hundreds f games it would be time consuming. Not thinking that it would be a new filter in the drop down menu, but just a category/genre label people could sort wished for games under.

TL:DR- not something I would be likely to use with my short Wish List, but I have no issue with something like this being added as an option that I can simply ignore or make use of if I choose to, or that other people with ridiculously long Wish Lists might benefit from and that might help increase sales in a small way.
Tons of very similar requests with a couple replies and then they all drown. Can’t you all unite somewhere, here or probably an already bigger thread can be found for that? Details don’t matter much, ANY way to organize that mess would do.
I agree all posts should unite under one thread one banner and maybe that should be here I will try to find some and see if people wanna unite.

Yeah see I have well over a thousand games in my wish-list and I know a few of my friends also have similar to me or they have a few hundred.
My WL is currently 1300+, of course it needs subfolders or personal tags. I have to use a Win Notepad file but it’s so lame.

Just so you know bumping every single thread related to your suggestion (including ones from 5+ years ago) is definitely not how you should be going about this. You're probably going to get banned for spamming now.

If I could message the O.P directly I would and I thought that the Idea that Lame Digits said is a good idea if we could banner them all together manually I would but the only way to do it is to leave a comment and let them know that we should all gather as one.
Also Peppermints if you have any other suggestion's on how we can do this I am all ears :FFXIIImog:
I have a suggestion, report every thread that was bumped as spam, I got most of them along with a report on the profile of the spammer. One thread is enough, don't need to spam 30+ threads all about wishlists from years ago

Sometimes we accidentally click something we aren't intended to do. I have so many wishlist and often I change my mind then remove some games. I removed wrong games & I didn't see what game it was. Activity page only show games added to wishlist, but not the one that removed. Please Bring Back Confirmation Dialog on Wishlist.

No, that is called spamming, which is against forum posting rules and generally has lead to a community ban in the recent past, as well as deletion of the person's posts and threads.

Yep, and will get you banned, so really hope they start deleting those bumps or moderation will probably just nuke his last 2 weeks of posting history which is what they do alot for spammers

No, that is called spamming,
That’s called pointing to how an actively requested feature is being ignored for too long. Incredible how selfish you are.

No its called spamming as well as necroing old threads. I mean for instance what if i were to bump 30+ threads on regional pricing and push all of your topics out of site? Are you going to be ok with that?
