Friend invites - Add anotations
Probably asked before, but I want to add my voice to add annotations or notes to friend invites.

I'm looking at a list of people/nicknames and I have no idea who they are. Some are probably spam accounts, some look legit. Let them add a reason why they want to connect.

It also goes the other way. I discovered an old time acquaintance and made a friend request that got declined. I assume he would had accepted it, if he knew who I am.

Any new way for scam bots to add text to an invite will be met with massive amounts of spam invites again.

Hard no here.

No thanks, I don't want bots constantly spamming with invites and "reasons" (links to websites, scams, infected files, porn and other just like that) just because they send me an invite.

This is something I REALLY do not want.

What stopping scammers putting scam message in their invite?

The problem is the more people that gullible, and uneducated the more of the scams happens. I understand want be able to reach out better to others, but this just helps others that want to ruin things which is the problem sadly.

Personally I leave my comment section open so people can post, and leave disclaiming on top of my profile demanding a reason why add me in my comments, and if I don't see any message for why, I can automatically assume what they're are scammer, and small chance they could've been someone I knew, or played with that wanted to add me, that why my comments are open.
