Adding The Walking Dead TV show back to steam
I think it should be added back because it’s a peak show

Ask the license holders to bring it back to Steam.

Highly unlikely since movies and TV shows we're not popular on steam

The walking dead tv show was never been on steam in the first place. Games based on the comics/IP were.

But as others have said, movies and TV shows are not coming back, they were never popular to start with mainly because they were FAR more expensive then getting them anywhere else.

Were there any other games based on TWD beyond the ones made by Telltale? All the Telltale stuff got delisted in 2018 after the studio got shuttered and if it hasn't come back since the "restructuring", it's never likely to.

Valve ended support for all movies and video not directly related to video games. This will never happen, unless there's a weird "MMO affects the TV series" Walking Dead spinoff similar to the Defiance TV/MMO tie-together that failed so horribly.

I was going to say I don't think so, but there are a few I found after a quick search.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners (VR only)
The Walking Dead Onslaught (VR only)
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
The Walking Dead: Destinies (released Dec 1 2023)
Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead
Pinball FX3 - The Walking Dead Pinball

But no TV shows as mentioned. The only one even close to the show is Destinies. Course all these could have been found with a quick google or even steam search....

And we don't talk about Overkill's The Walking Dead.

Steam is never bringing back movies or TV shows.
Ever.
They have no reason to.
It's a complete loss for them.

Had no idea, then again I took one look at the prices that they wanted for stuff and never looked again because I could find it cheaper in many other places for physical discs, so why would I want digital stuff that could be taken away/edited at any time.

Its never coming back to Steam. It didn't sell well because of the prices people who put the videos on Steam wanted for them.

You can go to many other places and buy digital versions for cheaper, or just pay for a couple of months some streaming service and save a bunch of money, or buy them cheaper in physical format and watch them as many times as you want.

Steam is not a good place for stuff like this because of the costs. Valve wants their 30%, but thats never going to cover the costs of people steaming the videos over and over again in high quality. This is why Streaming sites that have monthly fees or physical format is the only places you're going to find them now.
