Steam Adult Accounts Special RIghts. Everyone who has 18 + Steam Years
should stopped of any Restriction (Germany all Games/ Stuff 18 Years should be shown & buyable

I have in 4 Days (19 Steam Years, i started with Half Life 2 & Counter Strike Source (Age Restriction 18 Years Retail Version DVD 15.01.2004.

So i am surely not 17 Years or younger.

Everyone with 18 Steam Years should have no Restrictions (no hidden Index Games, no hidden Adult Games with Steam Achievements/ Trading Cards etc.)

Witcher 3 is like Game of Thrones & very realistic Graphics & than are the Comic Adult Games forbidden only?

Logic?

Again, none of what you wrote is remotely accurate. Germany has specific authorized measures to validate age, the age of an account is not one of those.

There is also no ruling or anything that states Valve is a monopoly, you don't get to unilaterally declare it.

Again, Valve is aware of the issue, and their response is to comply by not selling the games. If you don't like it then complain to your politicians

Valve has no ID Card or Passport Prove either & like i told its easy for a Child/Teenager to get the Dates from sleeping Parents. So its no prove either.

18 Years Steam Account is instead a 100 % prove to show that the "CREATOR" of the Account is at least 17 Years + so even if Valve add this , than German need to show how a 18 Years Steam Account Creator could be 17 & this isnt working either since its impossible so even if its not a listed German Proof, its not an unlisted Proof either, so German Law need to react & show why this cant be a Age Proof & they cant deny than its an Age Proof since u cant make an Account when u are unborn & you can do a Account on your 0 Birthday if u are God, if u are a Human u can do it maybe with 7, after Steam Rules u can start beeing on Steam with 14 but u can fake that, but u cant fake creating 18 Year old Steam Account with 17 Years Pre-Birth Pre-Born.

A Monopol is when this Game is only on Steam (not on Epic, not on GOG, not anywhere else to get it the Steam Version somewhere else, than u have a Monopol, if there isnt a Developer Shopside that sells u Steam Keys directly or u can buy a DVD Version in Germany with Steam Keys than its a Monopol & than German Antitrust Law get activated & Steam need to sell it (if only 1 Person has this Game by VPN or like Steam Achievements counting with Family Share with Austria/ USA Friend, than every German has the same Right to buy or get shared this Game & since Family Share is on 5 People & not everyone could get it this Way. So its the "under Table for Adult " Option the only Way. Child Protection Yes, Adult Rights Protect too since Valve have the technically Way to get both done without false Compromises.

Nope we dont need. We have German Antitrust Law & Constitutional Law that Valve need to respect & do the correct "MID" Way, the "under the Table" for Adult Only Steam Moderator Require 18+ (18 Steam Years) to make hidden Games for 100 % proven Adults visible & buyable.

Since what Valve do now is against German & EU Law & can be expensive if my Uncle start 2025 to go for it like French CS Go Case Scanner or Austria CS GO/Cases= Gambling & to think that the EU is like Chinas totalitarian Communism is fully absurd. Valve just need to follow German/ EU Rights on German/ EU Shop Version= Valve need to prove i "COULD" be 17 or Younger as a 18 Years Steam Account Creator or if they cant to open me the "hidden/ invisible Games". Thats correct & righteous. If they can prove minimal Chance i could be 17 Year or younger i accept no special Adult Account Rights, if not, i want what i deserve & righteous/ justified my truthly Human Rights without a Downgrade as 2nd Class Steam Customer.

It's not a Monopoly when a Developer gets to actively choose if they want to sell on one store or more, which is the Developers choice as Valve allows people to choose if they want to sell on their store, and is uninvolved if they choose to sell somewhere else or not as long as the steam keys feature isn't abused.

If you tried to go to an entity to sue Valve for example slamming it as a "Monopoly", you would be told it's not a monopoly. Anyone that would want to take the case from you, would only be doing so to tie you down to paying an incredibly amount to them & Valve when you lose, ie, an easy payday.

Its a Monopoly if u get this Steam Game only "THIS ONLY 1 (MONO) Way" on Steam. Than its already a Monopol on this & German Antitrust Law gets activated. EU Law is nearly the same. Sorry bot German Shopside= German/ EU Law/ Definitions "NOT" US Law & Definitions.

It's not a Monopoly and does not resemble a monopoly.
People that make the product get to determine where it's sold, and how many places it's sold. If you think otherwise, go to a Law Office and see how quickly you're corrected.

If the eu makes laws stores do not like, they can remove those from view/sale which is completely legal to do, especially when they don't want to collect personal information of potential buyers. You can still ask the Developer to sell it somewhere else, but that is strictly that Developers choice as they make the product, and they determine where they sell their game.

We cannot attest to your age, but if some kid were to by chance be using your account to view an age restricted game, if they click to verify their age and are lying then when their parents attempt to sue for this Valve can show them where the child stated they were of age, which saves Valve's ass and prevents some insignificant person from causing further problems. As with any idea posted here you have to keep in consideration there are other users other than yourself, so while YOU may be of age and YOU may not allow anyone to view games on yoru account, others may and Valve is protecting themselves with this very simple confirmation that honestly shouldn't bother anyone yet here we are.

None of what you posted is true. Again if you feel any company is breaking the law you need to take it up with your legal authorities.

Nope Valve need to keep on German Laws. They need to add Option under the "Table" to make unvisible Games for 100 % surely Adult Gamers (18 Steam Years) visible. Option by Request Steam Mods or other Way, at least 1 Way need to exist.

If u sell Games on Germany ( u can buy them if they are shown) & u have Monopol u need to sell them on German Customers. German / European Right & Valve dont want like Google etc. pay to Germany/ EU many Money.
You understand that "Adult Only" marked games do not display if your account is in Germany right?

Once again, like everything else you've posted that is not factually true you have no clue what you are talking about.

Steam doesn't control where developers release their game and the rules to be a monopoloy are far more involved then "is there a game only sold on one site"

I suggest you fire your Uncle if he is giving you the legal advice and seek someone who is knowledgeable on the topic.

Steam doesnt control who Developer/ Publisher bring Games on Steam (but they can delete them like Days Before & if there is only 1 Ways to get Steam Keys (not DVD, not on Developer/ Publisher Homepage or other "OFFICALLY" Online Store than a Monopol exist.

My Uncle is firm with German & European Law. He watched & advised the French Lawyer who added CS:Go Case Scanner & that Austria CS GO / 2 Laywer was my Uncle as Lawyer Adviser too. He is living in Germany& Austria & his Mensa IQ is 189 = Nr. 3 in Germany after Thomas Wolf 198 Mensa Iq & someone else between & like Thomas Wolf my Uncle know & have Contact with a lot Top Dogs like Terence Tao IQ 230. So Valve is aware of the Danger if it still cuts German Adults Rights without give a legal Way to give Adults the same Option like other German/ European Adults to get invisible Games on at least 1 doable Way visible. Like a Steam 18 Years Old Account 100 % Proofment of beeing 100 % 18 Years. Since sharing is against Steam Rules & yeah 17 Years Hackers act on its own. U cant 100 % avoid that Children/ Teenager get 18+ Stuff. I already told how easy this Age Gates are with Fake Births to avoid & there was already a few German & EU Court Rulings that this Age Gates are to easy & not enough but the same that Adult Rights cant be broken/ lowered by this with complete unbuyable Attempts (hiding Stuff) & a much more brutal & realisticly Witcher 3 is more hideable than a Japanese Adult Game with Nudity but without Violence & lower Reality Level/ Grade.

Valve should start find a Way not to Downgrade Germans Adults on same Level like Childs. A
Class Action Lawsuit from every German Steam Member with 18 Steam Years could be every Expensive & than Valve need to explain. How they think a 18 Steam Years Creator could be 17 or younger to have a good logically Reason to do this. Since my Uncle prediction is "IMPOSSIBLE" Valve should do the Mid Way "Under the Table " Steam Moderator 18 Years Steam Adult Account Full Shop Vision. Everything else is bullying German Adults against Austrian & other Adults. Whats not fair but illegal too & it has nothing to do with German Politicans. Hardship Regulations that follows German/ EU Antitrust Law & Basic Law/ Constitutional on German Shopside are needed. Stil no one could show me a logically Way, how a 18 Years Steam Account Creator could be 17. I am still waiting to prove the Impossible Possible.

& its easier to get an Adult/ Parents ID Card/ Passport Number than hack or create a 18 Steam Years old Account. So its even much more save than ID Card/ Passport Number Request Age Test(s).

you are writing pages and pages of stuff to the wrong people

steam can do nothing about the laws that require them to ask for our id

go complain to the gov't that is forcing this
Oh, look. Another German that wants a foreign company to bend to their will instead of getting their ridiculous politicians in line to remove such silly requirements.

there are now a couple of states in the usa that enacted these kind of laws

there are some sites that will not run in them anymore without a vpn

Again you are flat wrong. The developer is free to release it any way they want. If they want to only release it on Steam that doesn't make them a monopoly.

Sounds like you need to ask your uncle to explain what a monopoly is to you. In order to be the bad kind of monopoly for instance steam would need to be engaged in practices that restrict where games could be released and create barriers of entry to new competitors.

I highly suggest you do some research. Also once again, if you or your uncle are correct I suggest you contact your local legal counsel.

Again, it is the choice of the person that makes the product if they want to sell on one store or multiple stores. Valve is not involved in that decision, they allow a person to sell it here, to give away/sell steam keys within the rules, etc. Someone else deciding to sell their game only on Steam is not a monopoly as there is plenty of competition, plenty of stores to pick from, etc. I don't think you realize what a monopoly actually is, let's take a look;

Exclusive control by one group of the means of producing or selling a commodity or service.
Does Steam (Valve) have exclusive control over someone elses product, where it's sold etc? Nope. That is a Developer decision.

A company, group, or individual having exclusive control over a commercial activity.
Does Steam (Valve) have exclusive control over a Developers commercial activity? Nope, the fact you're trying to bring eu law into this also proves that Valve has a choice, and they made a choice, to resist an outside influence attempting to gain more control of a company that does not reside within the eu. Thus, the Developer also has a choice still as where they may sell, and if they only want to sell on Steam, that does not make Steam itself a monopoly as again; they do not bribe a Dev to remain only on their store, they are not involved in anything other than payouts & general moderation unless necessary otherwise, and do not attempt to influence other than making suggestions to companies such as price recommendations which a Dev can just hit "Next" or set their own regional prices.

S.T.A.R.S Leon S. K. lähetti viestin:
My Uncle is firm with German & European Law.
Then he knows businesses outside of the eu can run their stores however they wish, including removal or restrictions of specific content rather than complying, in which removal or restricting is a valid solution.

S.T.A.R.S Leon S. K. lähetti viestin:
Valve should start find a Way not to Downgrade Germans Adults on same Level like Childs.
That's Valves decision how to run their business, if they want to do that instead of comply with every single silly thing the eu comes up with, that is ultimately their decision.

They're not threatened by people hinting at legal moves, especially when frivolous, a waste of time, and having no grounds of a class action suit. Want to know the correct thing to do? Talk to your local politicians about changing german laws in regard to international trade. If you're unwilling to hold the source accountable for inconvenience they create to international trade, then the problem will never be solved. Valve doesn't need to make everything for every situation other countries create for their people, they can just say "Nah, not doing that" and make a workaround.

At this point, they really should make a SteamEU client, just like SteamChina. Put some eu entity in charge of collecting data & determining what can be sold on the eu store.
U dont get it. If they release it on Steam & i want it on Steam (i should have at least 1 legal Way to get it (DVD without Import from other Countries, if there arent any Retail Copys) than maybe Developer or Publisher Pages? Nope? Okay maybe 1 Offically Steam Side has it (IG, Fnatcl or Hmbl? Nope only on Steam?= German Antitrust Monopol but its Hidden? Sad but after German Antitrust Law= "FORBIDDEN ACTION/ ILLEGAL", so if someone go for it like my Uncle in 2025 if nothing happen before= Valve have Courts Cost, Lawyer Costs,Fine (Pentaly/Punishment, Forfeit Cost) & maybe even Compensation Cost too etc. Valve now 2 Times French & Austria Cost them a lot because they ignored Country Lasws.

Just easy. You can buy a certain Steam Version only on Steam "DIRECTLY" not on Online Pages anywhere else, no DVD its a "MONOPOL" this dont care if the Game is on Epic Fail or GOG too, if u want the Steam Version, its like a total different Product on Steam with other Terms etc. that make it on Steam Unique & if u want Steam Version only u have the Right to choose this Version. Like i can choose if i want play AC Valhalla on PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC (if technically possible like no Switch Version or Ubisoft dont want Xbox, than u still can choose from PC/ PS5 & you can take Version you want & Sony cant say dont buy my Version, take Steam/ Epic GOG Version. So if i want Steam Version & i cant buy it outside from Steam but its for Sale you need to have the Chance to buy it on Steam. No Publisher Developer can go & say: Hey Steam i dont like German Money so u can sell it World Wide but not on Germans. Sure Iran can deny LGBTQ+ Games but who want Mullah Terror Blood Money? But for all other 21 Century Countries (China is again totalitarian Communism) should do be all global Adults same Rights on Steam to buy same Games. What isnt yet, what is Valve fault they had the technically possibilties but dont use the Greyzones in German & European Laws to make this special Rules like 18 Years Steam Account= Creator Adult. Easy peasy.

My Uncle ended Highschool with 13 & 14 Bachelor, 15 Master, 16 Lawyer with Magna ♥♥♥ Laude on Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich which is Top 3 European with Oxfort & Cambridge & collaborate (with both together and with Havard, Yale & Princeton too. I finished Highschool with 14, Bachelor 15, Master 16 & with 17 Promotion to Business Administration German/ European Rights Magna C-u-m Laude. But sure my Uncle & me dont know what is Monopol or European / German Definition of Monopol. You are so right.

We dont need to contact Counsel. My Uncle contact German Federal Cartel Office Bonn & Basic Law/ Constitution Court in Karlsruhe & after that still EU is left. Since my Uncle as Advisor has 2:0 vs Valve in France & Austria. He hopes Valve take Action on 2024 to add a good Solution on Steam & the best would be Exceptional 18 Steam Years Account Creator Adult Rights since there isnt any better Provement that cant be cheated/ tricked like ID Card/ Passport Code Numbers Identities can be abused.
