Install games remotely with the Steam mobile app
I want to suggest adding a game installation button to the Steam mobile app. For example, if I buy a game on my phone, I want to be able to press an "install" button and have it automatically install on my PC or laptop the next time I open Steam. This would be a convenient way to manage game installations remotely.

I also think it would be great if Steam took inspiration from Epic Games and offered free games to users regularly. This is a popular feature on the Epic Games Store and could attract more users to Steam

I believe this is already a feature of the website. At least, I distinctly remember using it.

Sounds like you're new here. Good news! There are free games offered all the time, it's just done with the consent of the game's developers here unlike EGS.

For example, here's a game that's currently free to keep:

You can already remote install games as long as your mobile app and PC client are both running.

You can not queue downloads if your PC client is not running.

Personally I prefer when the stores I buy from make money... it means they can stay in business. Epic games store has been losing hundreds of millions per year because one of the things they do is pay game developers to give out their games for free. This along with paying for year long exclusives cost them LOTS of money. The only reason why they are still going is because of the fortnite money.

And as mentioned, games are given away on Steam all the time. Its just 100% up to the game developers to do that themselves.

Totally agree!! We should be able to add games/codes to our accounts on the iOS App

If you want to remote install games via the Steam app, the computer you have Steam on MUST be on (not sleeping or hibernating), Steam must be running and you must have the same account logged in as well.
