Enforce stricter moderation

More specifically, please make it so that when reporting offensive posts in any community hub, they need to actually delete the posts and ban the offenders, depending on the post's hostility level. I would rather the moderators do so instead of simply locking a thread all because removing one offensive post is too difficult to handle.

Would be nice to have by next year.

I can understand that, but seriously. I'm just saying no one wants to enter a thread only to see derailment that can't be stopped. Simply deleting the posts and keeping the thread open would make a difference.

Usually it isn't just ONE post that leads to a topic's lock, but a series of them that have either devolved into a full blown argument or when the topic has gone off-topic and no longer pertains to the original topic.

However, game hubs can and often are moderated a bit differently than the official forums here.

Not true. Many moderators act on personal beliefs. Especially is something goes against the narrative of the "modern audience"
