I don't see much value in that because then you just have people buying £1 games with easy gamer score just to boost their number. (And Devs making £1 games with easy gamer score).

Or people just using SAM or Steam's console to unlock every achievement right off the bat.

Steam used to have a 'score' on profiles. It ranked the number of hours people played in a week.
Then people started idling their asses to boost that score and it became irrelevant and got removed.
