Open in New Tab/Window in Store view in the Steam UI
If I browse the store using my browser (e.g. the latest demos), I can right-click any game, select Open in New Window or New Tab, and leave it up for future perusal while looking at the other games in the list.

If I do the same through the Steam interface, the right-click menu lacks this option, which is pretty annoying. I end up having to Copy Link, then opening a browser and pasting it in by hand, which is awkward and inconvenient.

Completely agree.

It's quite unfathomable that this option still isn't in Steam when it's such a vital feature.

In Steam Client, whenever u want a new tab window, simply hold SHIFT key and then click a link.

It's actually CONTROL-Click to open a link in a new window in the Steam client.
