If you don't like the suggestion, you can ignore it. That's the beauty of the internet.
Hotsauces response demonstrated you can prevent seeing those things by unchecking it, since you have to opt in to see such in the first place. You can opt out to no longer see them.
No. There are filters that you can put on the block all that stuff already. Use them. Valve is not going to have 2 different stores that use the same system to sell games. Again you don't want to see adult stuff, then use the filters as already pointed out to you.
Also this is a discussion board, if you don't like people telling you how you can already block all that stuff, well go make a group and post there so that you can have full control over the posts.
This is a legitimate suggestion, in the proper area. And just posting preferences, like I'm incapable of understanding the platform I'm suggesting a change on - and talking down to me, in a suggestion forum of all places - utterly magic. I'm not telling him to 'stop posting' I just pointed out that this is a suggestion, and the only thing he demonstrated is that there is always a group of trolls waiting to just 'correct you'. Hence the follow up of others, feeling I was 'lost and confused' by the original posting of the link to preferences.
So, turn the option off.
It makes no sense to want to force Steam to have an additional random store.
Literally, what the heck.
Feel free to think otherwise.
Are you going to personally pay for the new storage space?
Because I don't think you want to field the several million dollars to make Steam do that. :P
