Middle mouse button no longer works

Middle mouse usually opens links in their own window, for some unknown reason y'all have changed this; Now your infinite scroll store is even more unusable than before! I used to use middle mouse to open titles that looked interesting so I wouldn't lose my place in the infinite scrolling assventure but Valve has once again shot themselves in the foot and made sure you have no QoL.

Update: Seems to be links in game lists, IE: https://store.steampowered.com/genre/Free%20to%20Play/?flavor=contenthub_toprated scroll down to the list and try middle mouse, doesn't work as expected. DONT middle mouse the title cards at the top, it's the list of games further down that seem to not work as expected.

Didn't work for me when browsing free to play titles. Middle mouse clicking on the artwork and title did not open a new window. Middle mouse works on links in community, just not the store page.

I checked some other things, it works for me everywhere but that link I sent. Seems to be an issue with the infinite scrolling store and only for me.

Click on the link, scroll down more until you see the list of games, not the title cards at the top. Try middle mouse clicking on a title in the list. Middle mouse works for the title cards towards top but not on links in the game list further down.

Restarted steam and it isn't a hardware issue, as I've said middle mouse works on other links.

CTRL + LMB should accomplish the same as MMB, should it not, whenever opening to a new window actually works?

I would give that a go if you are having issues with the middle-mouse button.
