I mean Me I'm jusrt glad to have a chance at KH aty last.
I mean I expected there would be issues Squeeniux gonna Squeenix.
The specific game's community hub has it's own set of moderators though, with it's own rules. They may disallow it, and that's their prerogative.
Yes I know, legally emulation is fine, and legally you can get ROMs from your own disc copies, but I highly doubt your post was only targeted at people who already owned the games and wanted to emulate them.
These kinds of semantic games that people like to play should fall under freedumb of speech and get punished accordingly, I'm glad at least sometimes it actually happens. This plausible deniability bs is NEVER subtle but they keep acting like there's "done nothing wrong!". Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
His now banned review said the same exact thing. There were no semantics.
Emulation isn't piracy; it is preservation and enhancement beyond the scope of the greed of corporations who refuse to provide the best possible form of both.
Except the forum thread was on the forum of the game that you can purchase right now. Meaning it wasn't suggesting emulating the game as an alternative to being sad about a game you can no longer obtain, it was suggesting emulation as an alternative to buying the game from the store that hosts the forum where the thread was posted.
If you walk into a candy shop and yell "the candy from the shop across the street is better" you're going to be asked to leave. Regardless of how legal that other shop's business model is.
