Standing up against steams market manipulation, lies, and fraud defacing the video game industry
How do we as real gamers stand for our rights and for truthful product declarations

Standing up against steams market manipulation, lies, and fraud defacing the video game industry.

Steam has become such a facsade of fake quality and ill preformance games, inflating numbers when actual in game content for most of the top games steam declares are completely empty.

What is all this really about, and why hasn't the fair trade commish or the federal communication commission stepped in , forceable removed the inappropriate declarations of games, investigate its content that steam is purposely manipulating to inflate products sales and platform growth.

I have used steam forums more then most and what I see raises some real alarming disasters befalling the video game industry, steam is covering it up but just how long will this continue until there is just no longer a way to hide the tons of empty games, and unsuccessful titles.

More game studios going bankrupt then ever before. Is steam purposely trying to hide its poor preformance with over inflated numbers?

My opinion is yes and its disgusting to see it and have enough sense to know what steam is really doing

Your opinion is worth less than what you've spent on steam

The Only Thing You Can Do, Is Stand Your Ground & Don't Budge From It, Period...

Either That, Or Stand Your Ground Until Someone Does Come Along
Who Is Willing To Go About Fixing The Problem...

Or At Least Stand The Ground Until Someone In Politics
Changes The Rules Of Politics Surrounding The Environment...

Lawsuits & Court Won't Do You Any Good,
Nor Will Complaining, Nor WIll Acting Like
A Victim...

It's All Rigged Against You, & Unless Your Willing
To Fight The System As Hard As Trump In America,
Which Might I Add He's Risking Jail Time Right Now??

Chances Are You Don't Want To Fight This In Court, ~_~

They Can Do What They Want With The Platform, Sure...
But They Can't Manipulate Us To Go Along With Whatever
They Do With It, ~_~

They really need to stop using CHatGPT.

Little truth bomb. If you can show actual evidence of devs making false statements in the store page.. then steam will take action.

False in the legal sense. As in something that is objectively and evidently not true, as opposed to something not being what someone's fleshy brain miusunderstood it to be.

The laws of course allow quite a bit of leeway. which is how marketing agencies are able to exist.

This is why as a customer one must be aware of the assumptions one is falling back on. If you're filling in blanks mentally then thats you lying to yourself.

How does a person protect themselves from this. By being mindful and avoiding the trap of cognitive lethargy.
No chat a.i. here however thanks for the compliment, all of this was written by me, using my far superior writing skills, it's a honor and dare I say a compliment that you consider almost anyone's ability to think to be dictated by a .I. writer.

If is with no surprise however as the world in itself has dumbed down allowing a.i. to write it's essays for school, it's reports for work, most likely even write it's grocery list.

Thanks again for the complimemts
Would be nice if OP finally actually provides credible evidence or proof for any of these ramblings/hallucinations...

Actually citing evidence would lead to their evidence being debunked fairly quickly I suspect. Which is why they only ever allude.

I suspect it also makes for more mobile goal posts. And such things do not fly in legal context.

Dunning-Kruger effect in full display.
Do you ever wonder why these topics appear, could it be possibly due to the inconsistent products steams sell, the exsuborent lies told about games and the product disclosure of half million people populations that don't fit into steams daily dynamics.

That's what i question. Steam portraying hell driver 2 to be successful one month and then to replace it with banana which the concepts of each game being so vastly far apart yet having the same represented numbers, it seems like to much of the same pattern.

Ultimately it's proving that steam is engaging in marketing fraud aimed at deceiving its customers.

Prior to all this steam had another truly horrible game which hell driver 2 had replaced, the game was so poorly made I can't even remember it's name. Which for all purposes I will forget about these ones as well once steam rotates another marketing gimmick game at us.

No. People making threads about nonsense is as old as the internet itself. Older even if you also include non-internet.

It doesn't, in any way. You're making baseless assumptions to push your narrative, that's all.

:BL3Shrug: Not really. You keep creating variations on a theme.
Witnessing steam engaging in its marketing gimmicks is a ever evolving experience. It's possible steam is also a victim of this manipulation, however steam has the ability to correct it which is the issue. Steam is allowing the product manipulation to undermine the legitimacy of its platform.
