***Please make game name modifiable in game list!!!
What is wrong with these game names? The list of games in Steam is very chaotic.

I know the providers can change the names, but it is very hard work to contact every developer and get them to change the name of the game the way I want.

STEAM should provide a feature that allows users to change the game names in the game list.

Battlefield 1 ™
Battlefield 3 ™
Battlefield 4 ™
Battlefield V ™ —— Why V, not 5?

Assassin‘s Creed
Assassin‘s Creed II
Assassin‘s Creed® III —— What's the need for an ®?
Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag™ —— In addition to the ®, we got the ™. That's great!

《Mass Effect™:Andromeda》豪华版内容 —— I just wnat to know the game name, I don't care if it's a Deluxe Edition.

《Need for Speed™ Heat —— Are You Serious? Where's 》?

Watch_Dogs™
Watch_Dogs® 2
Watch Dogs®: Legion —— Same game series, 3 naming formats, perfect!

Prototype
PROTYPE 2 —— What is the purpose of all caps?

There are many other irritating things, such as the fact that almost all games in the Command & Conquer series have Chinese titles, but Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath still displays the English name. Such as some games show both English and Chinese names, some with English in front and some with Chinese in front. Such as a very favourite game but it doesn't have a local language name.

"SteamEdit" is very powerful, but it is a third-party software, and sometimes the name of some modified games will be restored to the original name.

If Steam is concerned that this might infringe on the game party or lead to some misunderstanding, perhaps some identification could be added to the modified name, such as a suffix symbol (to avoid influencing the ordering).

Thats a developer problem, resolve it with the developers, Steam has no duty in changing the names of any product unless its one that breaks the Steamworks guidelines

Please read the content carefully, I am asking steam to provide an editable game name option for users to change the name themselves, not for steam to change the game name.

I apologize then, I'll see myself out.

The developers are the ones who name the games. The developers are the ones who can rename their games.

Examples:

Resident Evil 4 (original) was renamed to Resident Evil 4 (2005), with the release of the remaster.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous was renamed to Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Enhanced Edition.

As for SteamEdit you re-apply the previous saves, no need to re-edit them.

I know that developers can change the name, but that's a very complicated job and I can't contact every developer and get them to change the name of the game the way I want.

And regarding SteamEdit, some games originally had a Chinese name, I didn't change it, and then it became an English name. Sometimes I restart steam again and it's back to Chinese name again, it seems to be unstable and irregular

You can contact the developers and ask if they will change their copyrighted named games.

Contact the developer and report it as a bug.

Recently bought this game. Man this name too long annoys me seeing on the library list.
