Steam Link for WebOS
Upgraded from an older Samsung tv to a newer LG OLED only to find out that WebOS smart TVs don’t have the Steam Link app. LG’s official response is that Steam/Valve would need to coordinate and reach an agreement in order for the app to be added to their store.

I already shelled out the money for a new tv, and I really don’t want to have to purchase another piece of hardware like a Shield Tv box just to get access to my Steam Library in my living room.

Tbh it's LG's decision to not support the Google Play Store and similar APK stores for selfish reasons (Walled garden to maximize platform commissions), not Steam's fault.

Next time, do proper research for app availability before buying a smart TV.

But what's the problem? if Steam Link is available on Android TV/Google TV and Tizen, then what's the problem of making a port for WebOS? nvidia managed to create GeForce Now on WebOS, which proves that it is possible, only Stream (and not LG as some write above)

Samsung doesn't seem to allow installing APKs on Tizen either
