"Can I Run It" feature
I think it would be awesome if Steam can have a "Can I Run It" feature instead of just looking at the system requirements from the store page. This feature is needed so people who don't really understand about system specs can see if their PC can handle the game they're about to purchase. Steam already have a System Information feature and System Requirements on the games store page so it won't be hard to put both of them together. There would be like a checklist or something that tells you that you can run the game at which resolution. What do you think?

We wish for a long time! The fear that a game does not work I avoid buying many games since I found the first game to buy and could not play.

Well the feature should be accurate. Like maybe that it can detect that you can't run some games on high resolution but you can run it only on low-medium graphics.

The search function is there to be used.

As stated, it's too inaccurate to be good, and the accuracy failures can bite back at Valve with lawsuits. So it won't happen.

Invalid.

It's as accurate as for someone to check the game requirements from the store page manually.

I would fully support this but there can be odd discrepancies even when you use the service provided by System Requirements Lab especially with Mobile (Laptop) GPUs and older CPUs returning an "unsupported" result and saying you can't run a particular game when you can.

Whether or not Valve have produced their own version that has a higher yield of accurate results or they have bought the rights to use SRL technology is unknown to me. Nonetheless, it's a great idea!

You need the Enhanced Steam plugin for Firefox or Google Chrome.

Like a benchmark, instead let it run or your system before you buy it (demo) to see if it works, but i agree. It'd be an epic feature.

PC requirements' research filter
I think it would be very useful if, seen the big quantity of games on Steam, there was somewhere a research filter that considered what we can run or not. I am sure it is possible and I hope you will do it, sometimes when I'm looking for a new game but I'm not sure about what kind it is, I would like (for example) to avoid reading about low resolution games. Or some other times I don't like to see my pc is not enough for some games. (luckily for me not actually like this :-) ). I hope you liked my (?) idea.
