Video/Game Trailer Downloads?!

What happened to the download option for videos and game trailers? I would like to watch it in crisp 720p, but I can't now because there is no option to view it and/or download it in HD. Am I missing something, or did they really remove that option? Why deprecate the Media tab? Seriously Valve or Steam or whoever/whatever decided removing video downloads was a good idea -- it's not a good idea, it's a terrible idea! Please bring it back soon.

I strongly agree with your reaction to this, it was nice being able to see the trailers for what they were meant to be seen in.

I am glad they removed downloads, they were a pita. However i do agree that they should update the player so we can watch videos in higher quality. At the very least they should just have the videos put up on youtube and embed them if they are too lazy to update the now ancient video player they are using.

Why don't you just watch the HD video on the web site? There's always a separate link named "Watch in HD".

omg they removed HD trailers!?! we have 4g internet, 5k apple monitors...its 2014.
are we going to use fax to post comments next update?!?

Spent ages thinking, hmm maybe theyve put it in sum submenu somewhere in settings. than thut maybe its only big picture...maybe, the vids dont load for me in big picture at all anymore
uff, the trailers are usually the main place your shoppers look for to find out more about the game. its the premier showcase for your graphic based products. Why degrade it?? is it rly that expensive to have at least 720p (but rly 1080 cmon)? this is terrible. why even bother browsing for games on steam? there is no way im gonna buy a game after watching a crappy copy of the trailer. cant see all the featiures with my bigTV (not showing off, TV's are getting bigger and cheaper) .....like really,,,,, SD trailer for a pc game selling site..really?!?
