Hours played Badge

It would be great if steam would give a badge for every 1k hours played. The hours would come from every game in your library, for example let's say you own HL2 and L4D2. Steam would calculate every game's hours together, not 1k badge for HL2 and so on...

I know this would be a pretty easy one to just idle and grind but honestly who cares? I think it would be cool if I could show how many hours I've spent playing games.

Doesn't it become a pointless badge then if its easy to grind. Badge for badges sake.

You would think any ideas about badges would be of some use or fun etc. Not just grind badges.

I guess some kind of a hour tracker on my ID page could work too.

Games are already tracked with hours played and show on your games list and hours played in the last 2 weeks shows on your profile.

Yes, I know that but I'd like to see my playtime as one big number from last year and so on..
