Update all button or option

My steam client constantly has 10-15 games scheduled for update and if I want them to update i have to manually begin each one separately.

Can we either get a button for "Update all" or have an option to just do game updates daily instead of spreading them out over a weeks time?

I'm stuck waiting to play games that have qued updates that have not begun automatically and some of these games being 60GB+ is really inconvenient to have to wait 30 minutes for it to process the update when it could've just done the update the previous night.

Valve took the Download/Update All button away when covid happened to save bandwidth and I don't think it is ever returning.

Set them all to high priority, individually, in their properties menu.

thats actually quite useful information. Though still extremely frustrating we cant just auto update games with a single button press.

It's not a true fix but here is what I do. Filter to installed locally. Shift click the top game in your list on the left side. Scroll down to the bottom game in the filtered list. Right click. Update selected. it should update all the items you have with fewer key presses. Hope this helps.
