What does the “CST” stand for in the gift delivery?

I wanted to gift a game to my friend at 17:00, December 22, 2024. And I notice that there is a label of CST.
I searched it and found it could refer to either China Standard Time (UTC+8:00) or Central Standard Time (USA, UTC-6:00). As I’m a Chinese player and Steam locates in the US. I’m confused about which time zone does CST represent.

Additionally, I would like to suggest that future updates to the Steam client include clearer labeling of the time zone in the scheduled delivery feature to improve the user experience.

Just remember, Steam China is very different than Steam ROW - if you live in the Central Time Zone (think Texas and states around there and towards the East a bit) this is the Central (Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern - from left to right).

I asked ChatGPT and also got two possibilities XD.
I think Valve should change this label from CST to UTC
If CST represent Central Standard Time then change into UTC-6
If CST represent China Standard Time then change into UTC+8

Technically, the world should should just use BJT for China since that's what they use locally.
