Link Steam with other Game Launchers like for example GoG Galaxy does
Why don't Steam admit autoload all the games from another platforms like Epic Games or Ubisoft Connect ??

I hate LogIn at Epic Games instead of using my Steam library and it's so bored (or even impossible) to add every single game manually.

For example, GoG Galaxy admits link accounts from every game platform but EA Play and it's awesome because you login once and have all your games from every platform, they admit third party connections from GitHub and show an Icon on the game's cover to know from which platform it is or if you have it in more than one, it also ask which one do you want to play in that case.

In summary

I would love if I coul import my other platforms libraries and launch all my games from Steam :steamhappy:

Did GoG Galaxy ever get that feature to work properly?

Why would Valve want to make it easier for you to buy games from other stores and deny them their cut?

lol, no, but that was to be expected since they farmed the integrations out to the community and didn’t bother creating or maintaining them themselves.

Note GOG never actually implemented this feature

GOG Galaxy's steam integration was a COMMUNITY plugin from the start. Meaning the company, who told you to sync your steam library, did not write the plugin that did this. And when it inevitably broke, GOG let it rot for a year before some random on the GOG forums decided to take over for the 3rd time (yes this has happened multiple times)
