I'm 100% sure the issues stems from Steam, and so far, I don't want any of these bloatware features regardless of whether they sit in the background or not. Cause Steam is being updated at the moment for these features and not the core client which needs more stability fixing already. And that on nearly all OSes and computers, fresh and old, including Windows XP, 7 and currently 8.1. And my computer surpasses the Steam's requirements. But regardless of whether Steam is bugged or not, I don't want these features and I don't need them, so I'd love a full removal of them, and I'd like to know how.
omg stop showing me steam hate i'm so butthurt that someone is saying these pathetic features are bloatware and don't want them
There's no way in hell would anybody have noticed that was sarcasm. It takes a little more effort to do so. Possibly use this, as it being slanted and all sounds sarcastic in it's self.
No more bloatware. Enjoy. :D
That...will just delete Steam.
No, that gets rid of Big Picture, Steam Broadcasting, Music, In Home Streaming, Store etc.
I just want Steam, the pure part of it, the not bloatware part of it. Can't get rid of my access to 150 games.
They still waste space, and worst of all, I'm reminded every time I open the settings or the menu bars that they exist. If I could, I'd just ask for a miniature version of the Steam client that only includes the store, library and community. And nope, not the small mode view, but another version of the client to reduce the crashes and freezes... and maybe the login issues too.
Steam is buggy. Not the systems I had tried Steam on. End of story. Remind me why Origin isn't crashing on me, or the games run by both clients.
It is crashing for me and a thousnad other computers that I tried it on. Hence why I want a mini un-bloatware'd Steam client. Isn't it ironic that people are complaining of "Samsung bloatware" yet they don't depise Steam bloatware?
Of course it must not be crashing cause you aren't even playing with it like half the time. End of story.
It is crashed for me and a billion other computers.
