We need a category manager
Like many of you guys, I have a very big library with like 200 games. Managing categories is painfully hard. There should be a "category manager" setting where you can rename categories and drag and drop items. Please please please make that happen.

I'm very happy with the category system, one gem that works very well.
(cat=category)
righy-click game add to cat or create cat say "2 zombie" "1 current" "3 name"
If game in cat. "2 zombie" . right click-set-cat select "1-current" then game will be in both categoies.
To rename is create "new name", select games in "old name" as above rightclick add to "new name" unclick "old name" when all games removed from "old name" it will disapear.

For drag & drop you'll need 2 windows create new cat. scroll through your 200 games select game drag&drop to new cat
current system is easy you can clump games into catogories name "1---" "2---" "war" "planes" "racing" etc
can mimimize those cats so out of view. From those cats can simply right click add to multiple other cats.

I agree that renaming a cat should be done. I also think the cat system is under sold.

Renaming is easy. Select all the games in a category (left-click first, shift-left-click the last), remove the category, add a new category. Done.

Given that it's possible to select multiple items and apply category changes to batches of items, I'm not sure what really needs to be improved.

Thanks didn't know you could select more than one game.
edit: just noted that "Ctrl-left-click" also works for selecting only the games you want to add to a cat.

I really want to view my library by genre, it's driving me mad, I barely play games anymore because I can't find anything and why should I have to organise stuff into complex category systems when the games have tags in the damn store!!
