Paypal for turkish users.
I used to make all my purchases using paypal since it is simpler and faster.
I really would like it to be available again.

Same here; not being able to pay via Paypal any longer in Turkey is a major annoyance for me, and probablty for most users in Turkey, please can the Steam team do something about this, especially before the upcoming Halloween sales.

I appreciate the gesture for allowing people to pay in their national currency, but I would prefer to pay in USD using Paypal if Paypal is not made available for TL.

Will be copy-pasting this here from my other post;

To Steam :

I am sorry but while most Turkish Steam users like the changes (mostly for $ to TL convert. rate, thanks btw); it's not acceptable to not being able to use Paypal as a payment option now. Paypal is pretty easy, secure and common payment method to use "all around the world" and i hope you guys consider adding Paypal payment method "back".

I actually don't care much about buying games cheaper with TL rates (but can understand people do care), just bring Paypal back and keep charging us with USD rates if you really have to.

It's just not a wise move to cripple available payment methods if you wish to widen your userbase. Shouldn't adding Turkish Lira be for helping people from Turkey to use steam easier? Right now as a paypal user, you guys just made it harder for me to continue using steam, so please consider bringing Paypal back. Thanks for reading.

I vote for this, bring PayPal back, now there is no way for me to buy anything.

Guys they won't bring paypal back because it doesn't serve their interests. I don't know about all Turkish steam users but as far as I know noone is happy about having to pay for a game %50 more because of the new pricing. We are at the moment buying a 50 USD game for 75 USD but in TL due to price being converted from Euros. They are at the moment working with a Brazilian company BoaCompra, alternative to this is entering your credit card information to the steam client. I'd suggest NOT buying anything untill there is a better option but it looks like there won't be any.

Even if some how some way they fix pricing and make it fair I still wouldn't buy anything unless there is an option for me.

Misal Civ:BE'ye 75 TL ardından 240TL ardından 170TL fiyat kondu, şu an 170 lira.

Not: Bu "süre" uzunca bir süre olabilir.

They are not using USD to TL, they are using USD=Euro, Euro to TL so we will be paying about +%50 more for every game at least for AAA titles, not sure about indie etc pricing.

I agree there, I also don't mind the minor differences between shelf and digital copy prices. They are minor differences. The real advantage is sales seasons but now without a viable payment option it's all pointless.

New pricing is not based on euro exchange rates.
Only games that are being priced riddiculously are new AAA releases (ie. Civilizations:BE, Watch Dogs).
Pricing is not based on some fixed exchange rate either it changes from game to game.
Some games are like 1 usd=1.5TL (Legend of Korra)
Some are 1 usd = 2 TL (Arma 3)

I am OK with this. but not having Paypal sucks.
Morrandir 24 października 2014 o 10:46
Actually

Shadow of Mordor %33 cheaper
Alien Isolation %33 cheaper.

In TL

It is not newly relased AAA titles that are more expensive, it is certain newly released titles based on who their publisher is that is more expensive. (which is, like I have mentioned before probably due to some sort of deal between the publisher and the local distributer)

I am hoping that Steam will resolve this issue before the upcoming sales. Paypal also uses local currency here in Turkey and paypal cards can even be bought in supermarkets here so it should not be an issue.
