After paying for mods, new idea! Monthly fee!

So we have to pay for mods to use them instead of using them for free.
I got a new idea.
Whats about a monthly fee to play my own games?
Like everyone has to pay as many games as he has.
If you own 20 Games, you have to pay a fee of 20 Dollars per Year, if you don't pay this, you can not play your games anymore they are locked.
Or what is about "pay4patches", so if you bought a new game and it is not working, you can pay $5 to download a patch which fix the game, so you can play it.

Even better, instead of random mod pricing, the prices should be dictated by the file size of the mod. So a simple model 1 dollar for each kb seems reasonable :D
Naturally this income should be divided evenly among the people who created the hardware, OS, the software, ISP, mommy & daddy for making the modder etc.

This seems like it would be easily exploited. Like, modders would just deliberately overbloat the filesize of their mods.

An extreme premise is only extreme while no movement is made toward that idea.
If you said to someone playing on a Sega Megadrive 25 years ago that one day a company could stop you lending or selling your game to someone else, they would view that as a extreme idea.

VALVe has crept slowly, removing one right or ability at a time, I doubt this one move would have made the noise it did.

I've got another idea: In addition to a monthly fee (of at least 60$), Valve could also charge the modders for letting them use Steam, so they have to pay Valve for every sale of their mod! And last but not least: Let's introduce gametime payments for every game on Steam, so people have to pay 2$ for every 1 minute of playing....just like in the old Arcade Hall days!

Paying for mods is the beginning of the end. What ridiculous crap. I buy games not just for the initial developer's content but the fact that there are communities out there who provide additional content out of their enjoyment of the game. Now this garbage idea. I am at a loss for further words...
