The Ability to Track Minecraft Time (vanilla, FTB, Tekkit, etc)

I understand it is not a Steam game, but I would like to see the time I spend in Minecraft (as well as others, including who is playing Minecraft at the time in Steam's Stats page).

It would be interesting to see how many people are playing Minecraft versus other popular games, especially since over 19 million copies have been sold (over 7000 in the last 24 hours).

This would mean that Steam would have to track hours for non-Steam -games.

I have heard about this (people already do it as some kind of status message), but I am suggesting Minecraft only. This might require some involvement from Mojang, but I think it's doable. Certain other games could be authenticated to work as such, but they must first be Steam-approved.
