Valve have you no quality controll team?
Before you allow a game to be put on steam. How about doing a little quality assurance. You know.. Someone actualy plays it? Looks at it?..

"qual·i·ty as·sur·ance
noun
noun: quality assurance

the maintenance of a desired level of quality in a service or product, especially by means of attention to every stage of the process of delivery or production."

I have noticed a trend lately of games showing up that are well.. Just lacking in any quality at all. How they make it onto the games list befuddles me. Here is just one example of a "Game" that should never ever be on steam = "how do you do it"..

Seriusly?

sigh.. What happend to having some pride in what you are providing the community.

This was discussed multiple times. Currently, pro-QA ("I want Valve to filter out games that are deemed bad by the community") and pro-variety ("I don't want someone to tell 'you can't get this game' if other people like it") are in a status quo, and it never went beyond that.

You may wish to use the search function to find out the already-existing plethora of threads, as well as each side's arguments, and contribute to one of them if you desire instead of creating another thread.

Which isn't only accomplished, but superseded by contributing to a megathread, as it actually shows the number of supported instead of scattering them along various short-lived threads.

The more people being inconvenienced, the more likely an act will be made. By creating new threads, the former will not easily show.

did you demand the same level of QA from from local game store? I thought not.

Life is all about analyzing data and making decisions. It called making choices.
