Sort by discount
I like that fact that I can filter the search to only show games that are currently discounted with this link: http://store.steampowered.com/search/?specials=1 But that's not new, we could do this even with the older interface.

But I'd love to be able to sort a list of search results by discount. Right now it's possible to sort by lowest price, so the games that have the lowest price are listed first, but sometimes I might be more interested in a 50€ game that is currently 90% off for 5€ than a 3€ game that is 50% off now for 1.5€

Definitely. I sometimes browse Steam special offers, and I usually try to find anything with high percentage tags. To filter it by cheapest --> most expensive would be a very helpful feature, I agree with you in this suggestion.

I would love to see sorting by discount level. I would also like to multisorts. Ex, first descending by discount then ascending by price. Also couple it with a toggle button to exclude add ons. I don't need to see 50 add-ons for the same game that I'm not interested in.

Binkadin, sorting by price already exists.

I completely agree. Not only that, it should also apply to my Wishlist. As I have a huge wishlist, a quick Sort by 'Sale', as in games on my wishlist that are on sale, sorted in lowest price to highest by default, would be very helpful.

Making the sorting system sufficiently generalised that you can sort by any field in the database, or combination thereof would answer most of these "sort by..." requests in one go. Heck, maybe you could just let people plug in straight-up SQL (with appropriate filtering out of anything capable of making changes).

I was about to suggest this because it seems like a lot of the other game sites (humble and Gamersgate come to mind), allow you to sort by discount level.
I would love to see this implemented into the steam store,
Especially due to the fact that the Winter Sale is coming up!

Thank you, I was looking for a way to search discounted games. Great suggestion Sharkinu!

I'd also like sort by percent discount. I just had a discussion with Steam friends and we'd all like to have that feature added.

I agree.
However a search for similar topics brought up a thread (if you want to find it search 'percentage') with this link:
https://steamdb.info/sales/?displayOnly=Game&cc=us

Either way this should certainly be an integrated option as it's available to numerous game download sites in addition to being how pcpartpicker.com sorts hardware price drops.

I agree it would be useful
