Incredible that some people today dont have a CPU or any decent CPU to play, and the only way to play whit them its borrow a PC or laptop to a friend for a day or some like
also friends dont come to play every day only on group, and to be honest, we ended up downloading some jack Sparrow Copy for the day
If 2K doesn't want to make Borderlands splitscreen on PC, maybe you should take it up with them, and consider not supporting that choice of theirs. If you just keep buying their games anyway, and for some reason holding other people (Valve) accountable for 2K's choices, what message are you sending them?
I was not trying to point fingers at anyone. I was using it as an example of a game that can be enjoyed by two players with one copy of the game. My point im trying to get across is that it would be amazing if I could play a game with a friend LAN without buying 2 copys of a game. Im not talking about adding a local co op to every game because that would require who ever made the game to do it. I simply would like to be able to just play a game with LAN with a friend. My idea on it was allow the same steam account logged into 2 computers on the same network and only allow the secondary login to launch the game that the primary login launches. That way it could not be abused by two people doing what ever they want with only one account. I understand that most of the reason why PC games dont support split screen is either because it would be way to intensive on the computers hardware or it seems like a pain to bind multiple controllers at once. I would have to have to force my friend to use a controller when playing a FPS game. My idea would eliminate both the issue of keybinding and the issue of choking out a computers performance. Also this would be the ultimate play with a friend at home by completely eliminating the horrible super wide skinny screen aswell as the all famous screen peek tactic
Yes steev_666 I don't feel its right to make a new steam account to buy second copys of a game so I can play with a friend on my own 2 computers. Also this idea could possibly cut down on pirated copys of games because to many times I have seen someone who will never pirate anything pirate a game just because they want to play lan with a friend at their house. None of my friends that dont even own a computer want to pay money for a game they will never play unless with my at my house. Its hard to convince my console friends that PC gaming is alot more fun when you have to buy 2 copys to play at home.
