XFire Hours
I think XFire hours should be transferrable to Steam

I have hundreds and hundreds of hours logged on XFire and I think it would be great if Steam would honor the hours.

I'm not following - You want your hours of chatting and server browsing logged for an application that Steam doesn't support?

XFire is great and all, but a) It's not an application on Steam and b) If it was an application on Steam, then your hours would be logged.

Well obviously it's not an application on Steam. Who said anything about hours of chatting and server browsing? You can log steam hours doing the same thing so I don't see your argument.

In my mind they both record your gaming hours. I used XFire for years before I switched to Steam and I think it would be a good idea if they honored XFire hours, even for just steam supported games.

I did, that's my point. All applications and games on Steam have their time logged, it's not possible for Steam to tell how many hours of gameplay you have through an application that it doesn't support. So how do you propose Steam magically goes and fetches your hours palyed through XFire?

If they "should" do this, perhaps share your method of doing so.
