Report a translation problem
There is a real reason why they wouldn't want to show any kind of endorsement to a suggestion and that's to avoid future litigation over it. For instance, there's a guy that's been floating around claiming he's the reason CS2/CSGO has everything from skins to cases to maps, etc, and is wanting to get paid for it, all because he supposedly was in a voice chat with Valve devs many years ago when he supposedly suggested all of it.
If a suggestion of yours gets implemented, it must appear that there's no connection to you for to claim it. Also, we're at point where it's the same dozen or so suggestions just keep getting reposted anyway. Very rarely is there anything so unique that it stands out from the rest.
Lastly, it's been shown on multiple occasions that Valve is going to implement what they want regardless of how popular or unpopular an idea is. If this section provides any service it is that it helps to funnel all of the suggestions into one place, away from the general discussion forums.
