Get rid of reigon lock for steam families
I live in Turkey and my sister lives in canada but we want to create a family but we cannot because the country does not mach up. We just want to play games by just paying for one game.

People abused it too much with renting out Steam accounts. They aren't going to revert it back.
Can you convince her to move back?
How about you move to Canada?

Its for families in the same household, not for families spread out. and that paying for just 1 game, is absurd.. how does that make $$$ for the publisher / developer of the game.

This is not how it works. You cannot use a single license at the same time anyway.

My sister lives in a different country, too, and we are perfectly fine with this limitation, coupled with the improvements to family sharing. So no, the restrictions should not be lifted.

I'm assuming you changed your region to canada to use your "sister's" family sharing but realized changes have been made. You will either need to move to canada or your "sister" needs to move to turkey.
