Steam Inventory History is broken.
The current Steam Inventory History is currently partially broken.

Bug 1:
If multiple events are listed at the same time the inventory history can sometimes skip over a few entries.
Example: lets say 70 events have the time of 8:33am, somewhat common if you're listing steam cards/commodity items on steam market on mass. This is somewhat how it could behave:

<50 entries before 8.33am> ... <50 entries from 8.33am> ... <20 missing entries here> ... <50 events after 8.33am>

Bug 2:
Sometimes whole periods of time is missing from the Inventory History.

Example: I am currently myself missing all entries between 8 Feb - 17 march. However the trades done in this timeframe are present in my trade history. I am also missing everything after 17th march.

I am missing entries from "Bug 2" much earlier as well, altough i can't pinpoint.



Personal insight: I believe that the "Inventory History" should be changed to work like the trade history where trades are listed in chronological order, rather than how it is now, where it seems to use an timestamp to find the next 50 events.

Fixed itself, the events from 8 Feb and forwards are back (Bug 2). Unsure about the older ones though.

It's handled separately for each game that supports history. Is there a specific game this is happening to you with?

Kind of, i only traded/did "Inventory changes" with Counter Strike 2 and Team Fortress 2 and "Mining". the item drops provided by "Mining" were the only ones which were seen in my Inventory History on March 17th.

They arent nor were on the "Full inventory history is unavailable for [number here] of the games in your inventory." list.
