Can you help give this feedback to the Steam Support, where they can update the fallibility about Steam Browser, except the platform for buying games is just an exception.

I have a thing about using the browsers daily, and I set a Cold Turkey limit so that I won't be tempted to use the browser for watching adult content materials. I WANT TO INSTALL STEAM ON MY COMPUTER, EXCEPT I DON'T WANT ACCESS TO THE STEAM BROWSER. Possible?

No, why would it? Its needed to browse the store.
Steam wants to sell you things, they won't turn their browser off so they can't make sales.

Any way around it? I'm tired that ChatGPT can't even solve this issue. I wish there was a lock mode for overlay button so I rather not use the in-built browser extension. :(

The overlay requires you to hit certain buttons in-game to bring it up.
If you don't hit those buttons, the overlay doesn't pop up.
Also, chatgpt is a bad joke and shouldn't really be trusted to get real answers.
