Subject: Suggestion for Customizable Game Titles in Steam Library

Dear Steam Team,

I would like to suggest a feature that could significantly enhance the user experience and potentially boost sales: the ability for users to rename games within their personal libraries.

While the question may arise as to why the title names matter, I believe this change would be appreciated by many users, myself included, who value a streamlined and organized library. For example, titles like "Overwatch 2" or "Hell Divers 2" include numbers or additional text that can make the library appear cluttered. Personally, I would prefer to see "Overwatch" and "Hell Divers" without the numerical suffix, as it better reflects how I view the game. Similarly, for titles like "Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut", a simpler name would help maintain a cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing library.

This feature would not affect how the games are marketed or sold, as users would still see the official titles when browsing the store. However, allowing individuals to adjust the names for their own libraries would create a more enjoyable and personalized experience, and potentially encourage more users to engage with and purchase games.

Thank you for considering this suggestion. I believe it would greatly enhance the Steam experience for many users.

Best regards,
Yohjia

Wouldn't a drag and drop feature be a simpler way of organising the library?

What do you mean by drag and drop? Like onto the desktop?

I mean in the individual collections, putting your games in a custom order.
I'd like to put Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider together in this order within my Adventure/Puzzle Collection. With the pre-selections we have there's no way of doing that. Dragging and dropping games into the order you choose would be welcomed.
