I asked steam support if it is possible to check the statistics from December 14 to 31, or if they are completely lost. This is their answer:

Unfortunately the statistics for this period are not counted in the general stats for the year.

Regardless of the above, we thank you for your comments as we value feedback from the Steam community. I'm forwarding your comments on to the appropriate department so that they can check if a possible update can be implemented in a future iteration of Steam Year in Review statistics.

Idea:
You should be able to add items to your cart from the Store Page by clicking on the three dots. Without going to the product page, because when you return to the Store Page, it doesn't always go back to where you were.

Fiscal steam year, I guess. I too wish it was up until the very end of the year.
