Allow players to filter out games made with Gen AI
Next Fest February is coming up and I don't have any interest in playing demos from games that use Generative AI in their development. It would be good if an option was added to filter these games in the same way players can already filter Adult/NSFW content.

i personally don't see any problem with A.i. Generated anything, whats the problem? Are people just worried they won't get paid for stupid voice acting or art work any more. Bro lemme tell you something A.i. Doing it better then any of you can do it in a life time of trying. (FACTS)

Let A.i. give us games, inspired by people with enough inspiration to dream them up.

Currently games are lack luster an boring , we went from good content games back to 8bit flops and it had nothing to do with A.i. it was simply lazy developers who didn't wanna spend time providing quality.

Now A.I. can give you quality, there is no A.i. Robot buying games for you, that choice is yours, if steam the only place your finding games then its possible you are just looking in the wrong place.

Steam is not going to stop a.i. games if the developers pay the entry fee. Steam for all purposes is a A.i. Game store marketing games to you based on a A.i. search history anyway.

Yes please! Games are an escape from the AI slop we see all over the internet. Don’t let that take over steam too

Please do this. I would hate if my feed was flooded with worthless low quality gen ai games hiding well-made games I'd actually pay money for.
Please, GenAI is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ plague, same as the folks that rely on it.
Yes please :chug:
Absolutely need this!
Please, we need to filter such games. I don't want to support lazy companies. Only great Devs.

This is EXTREMELY needed

I hope Steam make this option available soon.

I approve of this proposal. Besides it's in Valve's best interest as I refund any game containing obvious Gen AI visuals.
Absolutely yes!! If no one was willing to actually work on the game and instead just gave it off to AI to make, then I don't see it worth playing.
Also 100% in favour of this. If Generative AI is "so good", they should be able to survive people knowing that's what they're playing after all.

Steam requires all games that use generative AI (whether during development or at runtime) to display a notice just above the system requirements.
we don't need this and all those people that say we need this actually look like stolen accounts, no posting histories on most of them or 4 or 5 year inactive gaps within posting historys.

For all of those to unknowing , A.i. Has already been used in games for the past decade or more, it has just not been public knowledge at the Level that A.i. has hit mainstream, allowing anyone to create some pretty neat art works in seconds with A.i.

Think of it like this , non of this happened over night, some of the people who where working on games and assets 10 or 15 years ago, where first introduced to A.i. Generation, at which point now A.i. Generation can do a better job then mostly any of them can.

Here is another neat fact for most of you, The artists you think who are creating Content and Art works , are actually using A.I. to create it and hiding this fact an putting there own names on it.

It is not some far out concept, it is simply A.i. Being A.i. and scummy people who would lie to you about using A.i. to try and profit from it.

Next time you see someone post a picture that looks to good remember A.i. Created it they didn't.
