Poland has its own currency on Steam already.
Doesn't have to do with currency. The EU sued steam a few years ago because steam was allowing region blocking which led to developers charging different prices for different countries in the EU based on income.
Now steam can only offer 1 price to the EU, and the poorest country in the EU pays the same price as the richest.
And yes , it has probl something to do with the Polish Zloty fluctuating compared to Euro or USD... but still it's crazy.
US pays taxes on top of the listed price and taxes vary from state to state.
Some of that is taxes, US and Canada for instance pay tax that is not included in the price, whereas in the EU the tax is included in the price. Some of the difference is also fluctuations in exchange rates like you mentioned
This is not true.
Currently 1 unit of the Polish currency is worth 0.25¢ USD or 0.24 EURO.
This means the Polish currency is weaker than other currency and people in Poland also do not get paid much each pay check.
So to the Polish they are paying a lot, when compared to some other currency they are not.
What? LOL, since when?

Poland is in the EU and doesn't always have the same prices as the rest of the EU. Sometimes they are higher, sometimes lower, and sometimes (almost) the same.
Steam allows publishers to set different prices in Poland than in other countries in the EU.
Poland is not an EU member. Being in Europe does not make you a member automatically.
If Poland wants all of the benefits of being part of the EU, they should complete their obligation.
not really true.. since I do check steam db now and then... Swiss people have to pay always 7-9% more then people in poland and people in poland have to pay between 8-12% more then people paying in Euro. For GB polish people pay arround 6% more... its crazy... just compare that , not EU comissions or to the US or whatever..just this.
