Steam Support in Ukraine
I have a question whether Steam support for Ukraine region is fom where? US, Ukraine or russia? I heard sometime ago that we had a moderators and community stuff from russia.
If this is true its a fiasko guys. Very big problem.
Please have a separate support team and moderators for Ukraine region Steam users.

Its not about having fluent people in Ukrainian language I'm fine with English its about being honesty its about justice because according to the recent moderation of Doom The Dark Ages where Ukrainian created a thread about adding Ukrainian localization a bunch of russian trolls came there started derailing topic discussion harassing people and insulting them and Steam moderators instead of banning russian trolls banned Ukrainian users and closed the discussion.
And russian trolls and haters stayed unbanned.
So this situation got me question whether Ukraine has moderators from russia
It's a trend that upcoming/recently released games get trolled by this or that.
You report it, and the mods will handle it or they wont. Else, you can Contact the Developer and alert them to their hub needing their own moderation team, they can also lock all but 1 section to owners-only.

Ukraine, Russia, Belarus are currently under sanctions.
Support & Moderators can still use translators to do their jobs.
We used to have at least 1 community moderator from a russian-speaking area, but they retired the volunteer moderators for having too few active remaining members.

You do realise there is a whole list of language that isn't on the forum either? I highly doubt Valve will go out of their way to add them all.

There isn't a need for one as the amount of people who speak it isn't high enough to justify one, same with many other languages that don't have their own forum.

Also what does having a forum do with moderation? What exactly is the suggestion here? Steam moderators are not based out of Russia, neither is support.

It is a big problem because every russian liberal "brakes" on a question which country should posses Crimea
It's a big problem because the support team and moderators of Ukraine are seems to me being pro russian and ban Ukrainian users way often that russian haters and trolls
Each region should have their own local support teams or atleast a neutral one

By default their Support/Moderation teams will assist in everything according to who can handle it, even if translators need to be used, else if they have any individuals from the region.

They're not going to have people fluent and from every region on the planet, but they can still support people and deal with any moderation needs. :smokeybear:

Steam does not have moderators based in Russia, also for moderation it doesn't matter what country someone is from, moderators don't have the ability to see that info. If someone trolls and people break the rules and attack the trolls rather then doing what they are supposed to and ignore and report them then they can get punished.

You started with talking about

to a specific game. How does this question involves creating a dedicated support team for a country? It’s a question about a specific game sub mods. You always can restrain from buying any game that does not feature the localization you need, and you can even see it as a part of fighting for independence or something. But it’s always up to devs to decide, and by coincidence they are the same people who moderate their game’s forums, so i can guess they may not like anyone becoming too demanding and blaming.
