Add "made with AI" as a searchable tag
I think it's a little malicious that Valve forces developers to disclose whether or not they used AI to make their game so that can be listed on the game page, which often leads to harassment, but there is no "made with AI" tag so that users who want to play AI powered games can't actually search for and find these titles.

This means developers who make games using AI will get harassed by the anti-AI crowd and their game's average review score will plummet, encouraging people to pass it over on the storefront, and the crowd of AI enthusiasts who actually want to play these games and don't like the harassment aren't able to easily find them, meaning these games are more likely to languish in obscurity given the tilted way Steam is handling these titles.

I think if Valve is going to require developers disclose they use AI to make their games, then they need to add a relevant tag to the game categories on their storefront so AI enthusiasts can find more easily find these games and support these developers.

This way you can let the users decide which games are successful or not, and you aren't injecting your own bias into the storefront!

the ai tag would be good for anti-ai people and pro-ai people. anti-ai dont have to harass devs and ai dudes can see specifically ai games.

That's what I'm thinking. Just be honest about it and the people who don't want it can look elsewhere, while those who want it can more easily find it.

Personally I'm excited to see how AI can be used in gaming. I think it could improve NPC dialog, and maybe even be used to revive text-based games. I love MUD's and have played MajorMUD and BatMUD in the past. I would love to see if an AI could be used to make a MUD on the fly.

Maybe someday we could see a AI MMORPG where the AI can add things to the game that the players want. Like in Overlord you could have hundreds, maybe thousands of different races and classes with all sorts of skills and items generated on the fly.

It would probably be terribly unbalanced, but throw balance to the wind! Embrace fun!
