Can you please add a "start steam minimized" option into settings
Ever since a few updates ago, every time steam starts up it starts up at full window mode, and there's no option to start it up minimized, which sucks because it always used to start up minimized. :teddyrupert:

use the -silent switch to do that

example from your steam shortcut (right click steam shortcut and add to the properties)

edit to add

"D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe" -silent

Change the location to yours

I understand that's 1 solution, but here's the thing, this shouldn't have to fall on the users from a multi-billion dollar company. It's literally 1 setting in a window of settings that already exist, so it's not like it would even be building anything new, they would just add 1 more for how it appears.

I added it, but you understand where I'm coming from right? There are people that are not computer savvy at all. And you tell them something like that and they look at you like you're asking them to explain chaos math. It would just be a really easy fix with almost no work involved.

I would say laziness, but i feel that isn't correct.

This setting stopped working after the first time, which is unfortunate, and yet another example why this setting should be added into the actual menu.

Ironic, because the same could be said about Steam devs. A lot of apps do have this option, it's pretty much a standard thing.

Exactly, that's why I don't think it would even be a stretch for them, since they literally have all the menus built and everything, all they would have to do is literally add in 1 line of code.
