Extend our Steam Profiles with empty space so we can see the entire Profile Background

I'm coming across a ton of cool backgrounds, but the Profile page is covering the entire center, making only the sides visible and the center not shown. It would be nice to extend our profile to show some empty space so we can see our entire profile background.

Just a thought.

1st world issue due to 1440p or higher, most likely. Most backgrounds are probably old or done in 1080. Most people don't even visit profiles though...even your own friends, sadly. Not worth worrying about.

Isn’t everything 1st world issue here in steam? Anyways, 1080p here and even games made this year have backgrounds where their design are in the center and only the sides are shown.
