The steam link app is already available for ARM devices {android, raspberry pi}, but is not available for Windows ARM
Im not asking for the full steam client, since I know that takes a lot more work.

But the Steam Link app client for windows, is only x86.

I am using it to stream games from my main pc to my laptop with a snapdragon 8 elite.

The results are ok, but just having this run on x86 instead of native arm gets the battery life shortened quite a bit.

Considering the the Steam Link app is already arm64 on other platforms, could we get that built for windows as well?

Thanks for reading.

I know the Steam Link app is already available for ARM devices like Android and Raspberry Pi, but it’s not available for Windows ARM yet. I’m not asking for the full Steam client, as I understand that would require a lot more work, but the Steam Link app itself is only available in x86.

I’m currently using it to stream games from my main PC to my laptop with a Snapdragon 8 Elite, and while the results are okay, running it in x86 eats up a lot of battery life. Since the Steam Link app is already ARM64 on other platforms, would it be possible to get a native ARM version built for Windows too?

Thanks for considering it!
