option to see current players in game on a game
it would be nice for less popular multiplayer games

if there's more than 250 concurrent players, then you can see the player count in the community hub.

Other than that, the inofficial site SteamDB lists the player count as well.

thought there was a way to see players and recent players in steam overlay, for w/e multiplayer game you are currently playing?
