Like Emotes. Heart Emotes. Etc.

This one is simple. The ability to choose to LIKE a comment or Heart a comment. Very similar to what other Social Media platforms have.

Would surely encourage more interactions, more polite conversations and interesting reactions via emotes used.

Thats what the awards are for.... and no it hasn't help for more polite conversations or anything like that... in fact its just made the forums and everything else the awards are connected to worse.

In additional to the rewards. -- I agree, it probably wouldn't improve the conversations but the emotes would make it intriguing.

I have had a few occasions where I wanted to tell someone "that's a good post" but I didn't want to derail the discussion and it wasn't such a good post that I felt like spending points on it. But with awards existing, it'd be kinda weird to have reacts as well.

Very true. However, a revamp look would do wonders for the thread presentation. Those are ancient; it's old. Steam needs a newer look.

I really don't care. I just wanted to drop this suggestion for whoever the Bosses are within the Steam world.

A revamp would be nice if it was something they wanted to do. Otherwise, the same old style is original and will always be authentic to Steam.
