Please add a spell check
Why, after all these years have you not added a spell checker? It would dramatically reduce the thousands upon thousands of confusing posts. You have people from all over the world posting in the US forums and not to mention that NOBODY is able to catch all their mistakes, it would surely give those non-english speaking posters a much needed break and those reading the posts a much needed break.

Please add spell check. I know that you have omitted it for a reason, but I just cannot understand what that reason would be. Is it to make users have to repeatedly admit that english is not their first language? It is to make those who miss their mistakes appear to look stupid and discredit their posts? Why? Why NOT add it? This is not a money issue it's a matter of having a normal forum as that IS the norm, except here.

Spell check, please. Just like ALL other forums and sites across the world. Steam is the only place that I have come across that has no spell checker. They have made it so easy to add the entire dictionary and allow users to add to their own as well you really have no excuse for not including that in the forums.

While you are at it, how about a text editor like EVERY other forum and site in the world. It's just one more reason to question what your intentions really are even though this one makes absolutely no sense to not include.

Spell check might correct misspelled words but that's it. Sentence structure is different depending on the language usually, so sentences would still not make sense to yo 90% of the time.
Just basic bog standard spellcheck NOT grammer or ' or Sir oxford english, (sidenote: tests have shown that once first & last letters correct our brain fills in the rest) anyway i could link the site that uses it but then you'll have to join to test it, pointless joining a forum that doesn't interest you.

But serriously (wrong? spelling) if your brian isn't a dictionary, then when a spellchecker is built into a forum, it makes qwerty typing 'n life easier, thats suppose to be what tech is about. anyway with an off/on option, what difference would it make to anyone else aka: opponents -(opponents bingcheck correct return to post)

Or just learn how to spell.

Especially if it's your primary language. It's pathetic when people who don't speak English natively speak it better than someone whose primary language is English.

I can do multivariable calculus understand the math-mechanics of the universe, who really cares if my brain finds regurgitating the current "correct" manner to arrange a bunch of symbolic letters for practical objects irrelevant, my nongod i''ve prob got a decade or two left in this body, all I'm asking is, for a simple tool to aid in correct spelling as ocd is bad enough, & theres's no need for vindictive inferiority complex attitude, no one is asking you to use it, so why come down on someone looking for it. I use a calculator, it's a helpful tool, a spellchecker is also a helpful tool and K is for Kat, C is for see. -ok a pathetic joke.

Word did sugest for you: fragment (consider revising) "Especially if it's your primary language" but me I like freestyle grammer.
