New Fourm System "Questions"

So a fourm system idea I have is called "Questions"
Basically the poster who posted the question has freedome to close the tread completely once they have an answer to there problem. they can also freely delete answers as derailing there question or just being spam in genral. IE how do I do "example"? Some ♥♥♥♥ somewhere: Oh you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ noob bah bah bah. *Deletes post marked as being unsupportive and not helpful*
they can also select one post as the answer to there problem this is to help people in the future googleing the problem be able to find the answer more clearly.

I'm stick of all my questions I post being derailed and other people's questions getting derailed with this new system we can stop these posts from being spammed to death and bumped and all this other crap.

In my option I don't care how stupid a question is we should answer it and move on or flag it if its spammy and move on it's that simple.

Also another idea I dont see happening that should happen is that all posts should be auto locked by some sort of auto system that locks any posts older then a few months to make sure theres no bumping not sure if it's already in place but it doesn't seem to be

This would be widely abused to present a one-sided argument and deleting the other side as they try to reason with the OP. Well made, this can prove very detrimental to everyone.

Reporting the offensive message is still the best way.

As for bumping, I'd say why not ? They already disappear after a set time from the discussions area.

Deleting threads, closing threads, and deleting posts are moderator-only powers. This prevents abuse of the system. If you believe a post needs to be deleted, or if you're the owner of a thread that you believe needs to be closed or deleted, then you can ask a moderator to do that for you.

Also, bumping threads is preferred to creating a duplicate thread, as long as it's on topic and not repeating anything un-necessarily. That's particularly important in this forum, so that all support for an idea is in one place.
